The Monte Fuso Wildlife Center was established in 1972, thanks to the interest of Dr. Bruno Sassi, a local veterinary doctor and Provincial administrator. The Center is owned by the Province of Parma.
The Center is home to deer, fallow deer and mouflon. Some species of galliformes can also be observed; it is also possible to encounter the tracks of squirrels, dormice, foxes, badgers or beech martens.
The following facilities and services are available to visitors: visitor center and information office, café-restaurant, picnic area, picnic area, classroom and conference room.
