The first mention of the church erected in Trecasali dates back to 1230, the Baroque style it expresses and the harmony of the spaces the Church of St. Michael Archangel is to be classified is among the most beautiful in the lower Parma area.

Inside are: a St. Michael striking down the rebel angels (demons) valuable oil painting attributed to Gaetano Galloni, a famous painter and sculptor born in Parma in 1736 and died in Milan in 1809.
