Arturo Toscanini was born March 25th, 1867 in this house located in this part of Parma called “Oltretorrente”, over the river, which nowadays is a museum.
It was on the centenray of the birth of the Master and for the 50° anniversary of the death of Toscanini that the old house became Museum, after major renovations, both structural than from the point of view of the Museum.
