The Pro Loco  with the City Council and all the Associations of Volunteers  from Sala  aggreed on the creation of a unique publication "The calendar of Events 2015" to inform about the various initiatives to be realized in order to keep alive the history and traditions of Sala, to support the commercial activities, to create happy moments not only for the Sala citizens but also for the tourists who, more and more, arrive to our town.

In spite to  raise awareness of its territory, Sala Baganza will attend the  most anticipated event of the year, which will bring in Italy million of visitors from all over the world: EXPO 2015. This will be done through various initiatives promoted by the Circuit of the Castles of  Parma and Piacenza, by the Wine and Flavors Road, by the Parks of Western Emilia and  by the Pro Loco.

From a touristic point of view, this global event will affect not only Milan but also all those areas included in a range of 100-150 km.

Therefore we will have to prepare everythong  in the best way  to welcome new visitors to show them our "jewels": La Rocca Sanvitale with eighteenth-century garden and the Wine Museum, the Carrega Woods with the badlands of Maiatico, the Romanesque church of Talignano and the medieval village of San Vitale Baganza and the tasting of our excellent products, in particular  the wine Malvasia di Candia.

During the year the listed  events  of the calendar could be changed; if so we will promplty inform you.
The City Council together with  the Voulantery  Associations are preparing everything  to welcome all of you and send you a cordial welcome and wish you a pleasant stay.
