The Pieve di Sant'Antonino Martire, known as Pieve di Barbiano, is located in Barbiano di Felino (PR) and probably has origins dating back to the 10th century. Mentioned for the first time in 1230, it became an important religious center with several chapels under its jurisdiction.
The original building was demolished and rebuilt in neoclassical style in 1775. It suffered damage from earthquakes in 1920 and 2008, with subsequent restorations. Architecturally it has a single nave, a facade in exposed stone and a bell tower with an octagonal cell.
Inside it preserves important works of art, including paintings by Giulio Cesare Amidano, Gaetano Callani and Cesare Biseghi, as well as wooden altars from the 18th century. It is a historical and artistic symbol of the Parma area.
