Church of San Lorenzo in Calestano

The Church of San Lorenzo, located in the historic centre of Calestano, is an important religious landmark in the province of Parma.

The church has undergone several transformations over the centuries, combining Neoclassical, Neo-Renaissance and modern architectural elements.

Originally enlarged during the 16th century, it was renovated in the 18th century and received a new Neo-Renaissance façade in 1907. After suffering damage during the Second World War, the building was restored between 1949 and 1950, with further improvements completed in subsequent decades.

Today, the church remains an important part of Calestano's historical and architectural heritage.

Address: Piazzale San Lorenzo 5, Calestano (Parma), Italy.
