Bruno Slawitz Record Museum
The Bruno Slawitz Record Museum is located inside the Castello della Musica, located in Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi 1 in Noceto, in the province of Parma. The museum houses a valuable record collection donated by the sports journalist Bruno Slawitz from Noceto, consisting of over 1,400 78 rpm vinyl records, mainly of opera music. The visit to the museum unfolds through various computer stations that allow you to listen to the songs.
Inside the Castello della Musica there is also the Museum of Violin Making, which exhibits bowed and plucked instruments made by the master Renato Scrollavezza and the members of the Parmense Violin Making Association. Furthermore, the premises of the fortress tower are home to the Renato Scrollavezza International School of Violin Making, one of the most important training institutions in the field of violin making.
